A monthly ticket to a global entertainment library
Netflix Inc. sells ongoing access to entertainment. People pay a monthly membership fee to stream TV series, films, games and live programming. Advertising adds a second revenue stream, mostly on lower-priced plans, while consumer products and experiences remain minor. Netflix runs as one global business rather than separate divisions, so almost all the money comes from the same place: members paying every month. Plans ranged from the equivalent of about $1 to $38 per month as of June 30, 2026. Revenue was $45.2 billion in 2025 and $12.6 billion in the quarter ended June 30, 2026.
