The packet of biscuits in a lunchbox or the chocolate bar by a shop's till may well have been made by Mondelēz International. The company sells branded biscuits, chocolate, gum and candy, and in 2025 it sold its products in more than 150 countries. Its business rests on habit: people buy the same snack again and again because they know the name and like the taste. They pay a price that reflects the brand and the recipe, not just the ingredients inside.
