Uranium Energy Corp has built US uranium mines and plants with room for far more output than it sells today. In fiscal 2026, costs ran regardless of sales, and new shares paid the bill.
Flip on a light, and part of that electricity may come from a nuclear reactor running on uranium fuel. Uranium Energy Corp produces that raw material at mines in Wyoming and Texas. They use in-situ recovery, drawing uranium out of underground rock through wells instead of digging it up. The company earns money one way, by selling that uranium. Projects in Saskatchewan and a titanium deposit in Paraguay are longer-dated options.
In (the accounting year ended July 31, 2026), two customers accounted for all its revenue. With no sale agreements and no hedging, meaning no contracts locking in prices, the company expects to sell mostly at the spot price, the going market rate. Sales arrive in lumps: one delivery, or its absence, can swing a year. Wellfields, the clusters of wells, and plants cost money whether or not uranium ships, as do permits, licenses and land-cleanup bonds. In Texas, the Hobson plant can physically handle up to 2 million pounds a year, yet Burke Hollow, its newest supplying mine, only started producing in April 2026. What it keeps depends on pounds sold and their price.
