Broadcom Inc (AVGO) - Stock report

Broadcom Inc. sells the parts and software that large computing systems need to run. Its first business makes semiconductors, the chips and connectivity components that move data inside and between machines. Its second business sells infrastructure software that helps companies manage, secure, and automate their private and hybrid cloud environments, meaning the mix of their own data centers and rented computing. The customers are mainly large enterprises and the operators building big computing systems. Broadcom earns money when these customers buy its chips and pay for its software, and both sides serve one need: keeping heavy workloads running reliably.

In the second quarter of fiscal 2026, revenue rose 48% to $22.2 billion, while AI semiconductor revenue reached $10.8 billion, up 143%. This matters because AI is no longer a small future opportunity for Broadcom: it is already a major part of the business.

Broadcom generated $10.5 billion of operating cash flow in the quarter and spent only $231 million on capital equipment, leaving about $10.3 billion after that spending. That shows the current AI surge is reaching cash rather than stopping at revenue.
